Mila is super excited about her ninth birthday celebration. Like every year her family organizes a colorful and entertaining party. This year’s party has a special twist because Mila is officially putting on the Hijab. Her parents had been preparing her long before her birthday, and she was ready for this great step in her life. Her younger sister Sarah, on the other hand, had some questions. Thanks to Mila’s knowledge and confidence in her decision, she was able to answer all of Sarah’s questions. Together let’s walk with Mila as she helps her younger sister Sarah better understand the meaning of putting the Hijab on.
Influenced by her highly spiritual and educated family. Fatimah Bazzi, a Michigan native, was able to combine her Western nationality with her Middle Eastern heritage. Challenging herself to expand her descriptive vocabulary list as an elementary student, her passion for writing was discovered. Today she is a devoted mother of two, holding a Master's degree in Business Administration from Lawrence Technological University. After so long, Fatimah is able to convert her writing dream into reality. Her inspiration is derived from her passion to create a religious learning experience for children that is based on a combination of knowledge and spiritual connection.
